WEST END STAR LAURA PICK RUNS LYM’s FIRST MASTERCLASS

Laura Pick is a West End musical theatre star and Leeds Youth Musical's patron.

Laura was born in West Yorkshire and trained at Moutview. She recently played Elphaba to great acclaim in the West End and National Tour of Wicked, and also appeared in The Sound of Music at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and Anyone Can Whistle at London's Union Theatre. Laura is an in-demand vocalist, who has also appeared throughout the UK in concerts and major events

Laura ran this exclusive masterclass for LYM students at Yeadon Town Hall In February 2026.

It was a great opportunity to work with Laura and receive personalised feedback from a real West End star. Laura explored many aspects of musical theatre performance techniques, including vocal stamina, technical precision and delivering songs with emotional depth.
